One of the most ambitious goals I set myself in creating the new album was the choice to mix it natively in immersive format (Dolby Atmos 7.1.4).

It was an initial choice as I think that the type of music I compose lends itself to be listened in this format. Furthermore, current technology allows the user to listen (in headphones) to the finished product without particular investments in audio systems and room soundproofing. On the way I realized that, today, it is difficult to find effective expertise on production and mixing techniques in an immersive environment, even on the web. There is a boundless offer but still firmly anchored to the (old) Stereo world and mainly inspired by pop and EDM music production 'standard' models. This blog (perhaps more oriented towards musicians and/or mixing engineeers but also aimed at those who may be intrigued by these topics) aims to exchange ideas and opinions on this relatively new way of 'thinking' music
